a) Information you provide directly

Email address and password when creating an account.
Tax input data you enter into the calculator: income, filing status, state, and business expenses.
Income and deduction entries you log in your dashboard.
Payment information processed by Razorpay. We do not store card details — Razorpay handles all payment data directly.

b) Information collected automatically

IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URL. We use this only for security and to improve the product. We do not use third-party analytics at this time.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the TaxWise calculator and dashboard.
To send quarterly tax deadline reminder emails you have opted into.
To process subscription payments through Razorpay.
To respond to your support requests sent to hello@gravitasorg.com.
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. Ever.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored in Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II certified database provider. Tax calculation inputs and results are stored as encrypted data. We use HTTPS on all pages. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Razorpay — payment processing. Their privacy policy is at razorpay.com/privacy.
Supabase — database and authentication. Their privacy policy is at supabase.com/privacy.
Resend — transactional email delivery. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Vercel — website hosting. Their privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We share only the minimum data required for each service to function.

6. Cookies

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@gravitasorg.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also delete your account directly from your dashboard settings, which permanently removes all your data.
